There is a friendly bar with a wide selection of beers, lagers and wines and the restaurant offers an excellent selection of freshly cooked food, using local, seasonal produce wherever possible. Wheat & gluten free meals are a speciality.

We’ve had quite a few famous visitors here - the Relocation, Relocation team stayed and we entertained the lovely Phil - unfortunately Kirsty was away filming in London.

“Homes Under the Hammer” were also our guests, but The Plough Inn team (especially the boys!) were most impressed when Billie Piper and her husband Lawrence Fox came to stay, along with their son Winston and Lawrence’s brother & cousin & their wives, when attending a wedding locally - they were great customers and even entered our football sweepstake in the bar.

We hope you all like the new car park and garden area as much as we do - thanks to you all for putting up with the disruption whilst the work took place. Redecoration is nearly complete - and judging by comments received so far, the improvements have been appreciated - top votes seem to be for the comfy seats in the bar.
